Casper Labs & Google Cloud Collaboration
Enterprise blockchain software company Casper Labs has announced an expanded collaboration with Google Cloud, which includes migrating part of its infrastructure and enterprise applications to Google Cloud, and providing Casper Association grant recipients access to Google Cloud technology to help them build and scale blockchain projects and solutions on the Casper Protocol. Through this partnership, Google Cloud will provide the needed infrastructure for Casper Labs’ professional services team to deploy and manage blockchain solutions that can meet customers needs from both a private and hybrid perspective.
Yuga Lab’s Experimental Collection
Major NFT collection maker Yuga Labs has announced a new, experimental collection called TwelveFold – a limited-edition collection of 300 generative art pieces inscribed onto satoshis on the Bitcoin blockchain. The TwelveFold auction will launch later this week with 24-hour notice containing details about when it will go live. This collection is based around a 12×12 grid as a visual allegory for the cartography of data on the Bitcoin blockchain; it also includes highly-rendered 3D elements and hand-drawn features which serve as homage to the ordinal inscriptions currently done by hand.
Robinhood’s Subpoena
Trading app and brokerage Robinhood Markets said that it was subpoenaed by the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in December, according to a filing. If any cryptocurrencies supported by their platform are determined to be securities, then that could prevent them from continuing or facilitating trading for those cryptocurrencies on their platform.
Trezor’s Silicon Chips
Major hardware wallet maker Trezor has confirmed that they would start producing silicon chips in order to keep production prices stable .

The Government of Emirate Ras Al Khaimah in United Arab Emirates has established a Digital Assets Companies Free Zone in order to attract foreign investments into digital asset businesses such as cryptocurrency exchanges within UAE borders. This will enable companies operating within UAE borders access regulatory support offered through specialized digital asset licensing framework established by RAKDFZ Authority.
